Hello Old Hickory Sheds Dealers!

We’re writing today to let you know of a small update to how inventory pricing is being displayed on your BarnDealer.com site AND on the Old Hickory brand website. For a variety of reasons, Old Hickory Sheds ownership has opted to remove “Cash Price” from displaying on all inventory listings when a discount price is available in Old Hickory’s inventory data. Going forward, that discounted price will be labeled as “Internet Price”, which is consistent inventory listings on the Old Hickory brand site. That “Internet Price” is 5% higher than the maximum discounted price you can offer. Displaying a higher price online leaves room for you to negotiate further if necessary to win a sale.

About Internet Price:

The “Internet Price” represents the same discounted price as “Sale Price”, which was the previous name for the field shown on your BarnDealer website. It reflects an online promotional price rather than an ongoing sale.

Here’s how pricing now works:

New Buildings:

- If an Internet Price is provided from OHS' database, the Cash Price is hidden.

- If no Internet Price is set, the Cash Price remains visible.

- Monthly RTO payment amounts will be calculated using whichever of these prices is shown

Used Buildings:

- The Cash Price field is always hidden.

- An Internet Price will show for used buildings when a discounted price is available in Old Hickory’s inventory data.

- When a discounted price is not available in the inventory data for a used building, all pricing fields will say “Contact Dealer”.

This update is automatic and requires no action from you.
