Now that your Facebook business profile is set up, here's how to effectively use it to showcase and promote your inventory to attract more visitors and potentially increase sales.
Sharing Your Inventory Directly from the website
On the backend of the website, where you manage your inventory, you’ll notice a "Share" button next to each inventory item. This allows you to post items directly to your Facebook business page. Here’s how to do it:
Log in to Your Account: Ensure you're logged into Facebook. You will likely be logged into with your personal profile at your first login. So you will need to switch to your business profile to be able to post on it.
Switching to Your Business Profile if needed
Navigate to Your Business Profile: From your personal account, switch to your business page. Click on the small arrow in the top right corner of your Facebook dashboard to open the dropdown menu. Here, you'll see a list of pages you manage. Select your business page where you want to share your inventory.

Creating Engaging Posts with Links to your website
Another effective way to promote your inventory is by manually creating posts that include URLs linking back to your inventory page:
Create a New Post: Go to your Facebook business page and start a new post.
Include Your Inventory URL: Make sure to insert the link to your inventory page in the post. This not only informs your followers about what you offer but also directs them to your website, increasing the chance of leads and sales.
Post Regularly: We recommend posting 2-3 times a week. Regular posts keep your audience engaged and help maintain visibility in their Facebook feeds. If you have difficulty deciding what to post, just keep posting your inventory. When you run out, start at the beginning of your list again!
Boosting Your Posts to Increase Reach
Boosting a post on Facebook is a great way to enhance visibility beyond your immediate followers and attract more traffic:
Choose a Post to Boost: Select a post from your page that showcases key inventory items or special promotions.
Click on ‘Boost Post’: You’ll find this option at the bottom of the post.
Set Your Target Audience: Decide who you want to reach with the post. You can target specific demographics, interests, and locations.
Set Your Budget: Decide how much you want to spend. Facebook will estimate how many people you'll reach based on your budget.
Track Performance: Once boosted, track the post's performance to see how many impressions, clicks, and potential leads it generates.
Boosting a post once a week can significantly increase engagement and traffic to your page, helping to convert that traffic into leads and sales.
